The back story:
After releasing two albums under her maiden name “Chelsea Nisbett”, she realized that her last name was a struggle for many to spell and pronounce. She made a tutorial video on how to pronounce it but it was to no avail. The situation was bleak and desperate. Finally, she decided to start using her middle name Amber and released a third album under the new name entitled Introducing Chelsea Amber.

In 2015 her song "Diamond in the Rough" was named a runner-up in the International Songwriting Competition.
